(D) No. 60, Home (Courts VI) Department dated 13.01.2017 and also on the file of the Second Respondent in RC No. 6480/A1/DOP/2016 D.O. No. 8/2017 dated 18.01.2017 served on 20.01.2017 and quash the same and direct the Respondents to retain the Petitioner as Assistant Director of Prosecution, Erode.

The Writ Petition has been filed challenging G.O. (D) No. 60, Home (Courts-VI) Department dated 13.01.2017 issued by the First Respondent and Order in Rc.No. 6480/A1/DOP/2016 dated 18.01.2017 passed by the Second Respondent and to consequently direct the Respondents to retain the Petitioner as the Assistant Director of Prosecution, Erode.

2.Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that by efflux of time, the relief sought in this Writ Petition does not remain for consideration, and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record.

3.In fine, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
