ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.C.Jagadish, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 8.

2. The present petition is filed to remove the encroachment made in the water channel bearing S.Nos. 1116, 1117, 1120, 602/5, 604, 515/1, 520/1, 521/1, 535/1, 538/1, 548/1, 549/1, 549/13, 550/1, 552/1, 555/13, 540/1, 543/1, 544, 599/2, 599/4, 598/2, 597/2, 585/1, 588/1, 586/1, 1121, 1112, 230/1, 231/2, 232/2, 233/1, 235/3 and 236/1.

3. Learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submits that survey would be conducted preferably within a period of four to six weeks and after the survey is conducted, necessary steps, in accordance with law, would be undertaken.

4. As it is submitted by learned Government Advocate that survey would be conducted and further steps, in tune with the survey report, would be undertaken and moreover, the alleged encroachers are not made parties to the present petition, no further orders are necessary to be passed in the present petition.

5. In view of that, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
