Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the sale deed in Doc.No.1887/2013 dated 08.04.2013 executed by the respondents 7 to 16 in favour of the fourth respondent for the property comprised in S.No.2/1A to an extent of 0.22 cents, on the file of the sixth respondent and to declare the same as null and void and consequently direct the second respondent to cancel the patta stands in the name of the fourth respondent vide Patta No.844 to the property comprised in S.No.2/1A to an extent of 0.22 cents and also to cancel the patta stands in the name of the respondents 4 and 5 vide Patta No.178 to the property comprised in S.No.2/1B to an extent of 0.44 cents and further to direct the second 2/6
respondent to restore the Patta as it was before UDR and pass appropriate order on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2021 and reminder dated 09.06.2025 within time stipulation. This writ petition has been filed challenging the sale deed in Doc.No.1887/2013 dated 08.04.2013 executed by the respondents 7 to 16 in favour of the fourth respondent for the property comprised in S.No.2/1A to an extent of 0.22 cents, on the file of the sixth respondent and consequently direct the second respondent to cancel the patta stands in the name of the fourth respondent vide Patta No.844 to the property comprised in S.No.2/1A to an extent of 0.22 cents and also to cancel the patta stands in the name of the respondents 4 and 5 vide Patta No.178 to the property comprised in S.No.2/1B to an extent of 0.44 cents and further to direct the second respondent to restore the Patta as it was before UDR and pass appropriate 3/6
order on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2021 and reminder dated 09.06.2025 within time stipulation.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner submitted a representation to cancel the patta issued in favour of the fourth and fifth respondents in respect of subject property comprised in S.No.2/1, situated at Pinjur Village, Chengam Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District and it is pending on the file of the second respondent.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 10.12.2021 and reminder dated 09.06.2025 made by the petitioner and, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and all other private respondents and giving them personal opportunity of hearing, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. There shall be 4/6
no order as to costs.
