Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 483(1)(b) of of B.N.S.S, to modify the condition in paragraph No.5(c) in the order dated 24.7.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.1026 of 2025 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Ranipet and grant such other relief which the Honorable Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the condition in paragraph No.5(c) in the order dated 24.7.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.1026 of 2025 by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Ranipet.

2. The petitioner is an accused in Crime No.2 of 2024 for the offences under section 66[D] of IT Act, 2008 and Section 420 of IPC. The Principal Sessions Judge, Ranipet, while granting bail to the petitioner and another accused, has imposed a condition to deposit a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- each before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Ranipet and on such deposit, learned Magistrate shall accept the sureties. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is not able to deposit the said amount and submitted that he is ready to deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- [Rupees one lakh only] and the condition may be modified to that effect.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Criminal Original is ordered and the condition in 5[c] of the Order made in 2/4

Crl.M.P.No.1026 of 2025 dated 24.07.2025 is modified to the effect that the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- [Rupees one lakh only] [instead of Rs.5,00,000/-] as per the direction of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Ranipet. The other conditions imposed by the learned Sessions Judge remain unaltered.
