ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed, for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.07.2017 and to issue the death certificate of the petitioner's mother.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's mother passed away on 06.12.2010. The petitioner made a representation dated 24.07.2017, to the first respondent to issue death certificate of his mother. He also annexed the burial ground certificate along with his representation. respondent to issue death certificate. Therefore, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the Revenue Divisional Officer is the competent authority to issue the death certificate, therefore, the petitioner has to make a representation before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ambattur.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the petitioner is directed to make a representation to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ambattur and on such representation is being made by the petitioner, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ambattur, shall consider the same and issue death certificate of the petitioner's mother, if everything is in order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the petitioner's representation.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
