This contempt petition has been filed against the noncompliance of the order and direction issued by this Court in W.P.No.17874 of 2017, dated 14.07.2020.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General, assisted by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the order and direction issued by this Court in W.P.No.17874 of 2017, dated 14.07.2020, has been duly complied with by the respondent, even before filing of the contempt petition and the final order was also passed and the same was communicated to the petitioner through Speed Post. However, the petitioner suppressing those facts has filed the contempt petition.

3. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that there is no proof to show that the said order has been duly served on the contempt petitioner. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner himself has admitted that the Page No.2/4

orders have been passed and hence, he seeks liberty to challenge the said order.

4. Recording the said submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the Contempt Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent before the appropriate forum if he is aggrieved by the said order. 06.02.2024 Index: Yes/No Speaking Order/Non-Speaking Order ms Page No.3/4
