ORDER

This Suo Motu case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.)No.618 of 2025. 2.This case is registered in Cr.No.369 of 2015 for the alleged offences under Sections 294 (b), 353 and 506 (i) of I.P.C. The incident was occurred on 08.07.2015. The allegation in this case is that when the Police personnel Page No.1 of 4

involved in the vehicle check, the accused abused the Police personnel in filthy language and threatened with dire consequences. The matter is pending from the year 2015. It is reported that A2/Adhinarayanan has died and A1/Subramani has been attending the court.

3.Considering the nature of allegations, the antecedents of the accused, any further continuation of the proceedings will impinge upon the accused's right to a speedy trial. No useful purpose will be served by keeping the matter pending.

4.Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.56 of 2016 of Judicial Magistrate Court, Vanur, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram, stands quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of.

The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
