ORDER

This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025.

2. The allegation in this case is that the accused was generally creating nuisance and ruckus in the public and when the person belonging to the Home Guard went and accosted, he abused him in filthy languange. For the said allegation, the case is pending from the year 2015, for an offence under Sections 294 (b), 323, 332 and 506 (ii) of IPC and Section 4 (1) (j) of TN Prohibition Act, and the accused is facing the proceedings. Any further continuation of the case will impinge upon his right to speedy trial.

3. Therefore, the CC.No.208 of 2022 on the file of the Court of Judicial Magistrate, Gudiyatham, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore, stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer case stands disposed of. 08.09.2025 Jer D.BHARATHA CHAKRAVARTHY, J.
