Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order dated 21.10.2019 made in

Na.Ka.No.1604/2019/U1 passed by the first respondent in so far as the conversion of the land in Resurvey No 187/2 to an extent of 0.30 Hec and Survey No 188/2, to an extent of 0.10.0 Hec situate at Nanjai Uthukuli Village, Modakurichi Taluk, Erode District to and in favour of Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board/4th respondent is concerned and to quash the same, consequently direct the respondents to restore the Land of Kalam Poramboke in Survey No 187/2 to an extent of 0.30.0 Hectare and 188/2 to an extent of 0.14.5 hectare totally measuring to an extent of 0.44.5 hectare situate at Nanjai Uthukuli Village, Modakkurichi Taluk, Erode District.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order dated 21.10.2019 passed by the first respondent, insofar as it relates to the conversion of the subject land in favour of Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, which has now been renamed as the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent submitted that, after the subject land was handed over, construction work was completed and the houses have been handed over to all the

beneficiaries, who are in possession of their respective portions. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the above submissions, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
