O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this petition to transfer the investigation in Crime No.174 of 2025 which is pending before the Inspector of Police, Thirukazhudundram Police Station, Chengalpattu to some other competent

authority.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. According to the petitioner, her husband committed suicide due to enchantment made by other woman, who had illegal connection with him.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had lodged the complaint on 14.06.2025 with evidence and also made a representation to the Superintendent of Police, Chengalpattu but however, there was no progress or effective action by the police. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on instructions submit that the investigation is on the right direction and there is no need to transfer the case.

6. Considering the nature of allegations and taking note of the

submissions of the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the Investigating Officer to complete the investigation and to file the final report in the matter as per law, as expeditiously as possible.

7. With the above observations and direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
