O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to issue necessary directions to transfer of patta and for mutation of the Revenue A Register in the petitioners lands, patta No.347 measuring about 1.51 cents S.No.260 of Atthanavur Village, Elagirimalai Madhura, Thirupathur District.

2. As against the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer concerned, ie., the petitioners have preferred a revision on 01.04.2022 before the second respondent and in order to consider the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard Mr.V.Thirupathi learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the said representation submitted by the petitioner dated 01.04.2022 would be treated as a revision and accordingly it would be disposed of on merits by the 2nd respondent District Revenue Officer within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer and having regard to the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order. "That there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 01.04.2022 treating it as a revision against the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer concerned and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
