Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to the detention order in Memo No.683/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 15.10.2019 passed by second respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's son Karthik @ Balpam Karthik, S/o. Kumar, aged about 33 years, the detenue, now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set the petitioner's son Karthik @ Balpam Karthik, S/o. Kumar, aged about 33 years, the detenue herein at liberty.

[Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] Petitioner is the mother of the detenu viz., Karthik @ Balpam Karthik, S/o. Kumar, aged 33 years, who has been branded as 'Goonda' under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under order of second respondent passed in Memo No.683/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 15/10/2019. Such an order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the son of the petitioner in Memo No.683/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 15/10/2019 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.4903, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 29/11/2019 and produced a copy of the said order.
3. In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
