This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the FIR based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 09.12.2021 and 12.10.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that for the advertisement given by one Rangaraj in the Facebook that any one can earn money if he had credit card, the petitioner contacted him; subsequently, he sent a link and through which, he asked him to sent some money so that, that will enable him to send back more money to him; believing the words of the said Rangaraj, the petitioner had lost his money; in this regard, he gave a complaint to the respondent police; but the respondent police closed the complaint based on the undertaking given by the said Rangaraj to give back the money to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the said complaint has been closed only because of the undertaking given by both the parties.

5. If the petitioner is not satisfied with the closure report, he is at liberty to invoke appropriate action under Section 156(3) or 200 Cr.P.C. before the appropriate forum, if so advised.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
