ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 16.07.2025, passed by this Court in W.P.No.22541 of 2025, thereby directed the respondent to admit the

petitioner's son namely, V.Abinayagam in the respondent school in accordance with his application dated 09.06.2025. 2.

The writ petition was filed challenging the order dated 12.06.2025, thereby refused to admit the petitioner's son in the 11th standard in the respondent school, for the reason that there was no reservation for the SC/ST category to give admission in +1 class. This Court set aside the order and also directed the respondent to give admission in 11th standard, since the petitioner's son was being the first rank holder in the SC community. 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent school is being a model school, it has to accommodate each and every first rank holder in other high schools of the very same educational district. Accordingly, the petitioner's son is not coming under the zone of consideration to give admission in the 11th standard. That apart, the reservation policy is not applicable to the school admission. It is also noted that half of the academic year has already been over and the petitioner's son got admission in a private school.
