ORDER

The petitioners have filed the present revision seeking expeditious disposal of LAOP.No.165 of 2019 pending before the learned Principal District Judge, Salem.

2. Mr.V.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the 1st and 2nd respondents.

3. Considering the limited request made by the petitioners, notice to the respondents 3 to 8 is dispensed with.

4. Learned counsel for the revision petitioners submits that though the trial has already commenced and the pleadings were also completed, till date the said LAOP has not been disposed of and the same is kept pending for the past six years.

5. In view of the fact that the LAOP is of the year 2019, this Court Page No.2 of 4

directs the learned Principal District Judge, Salem to expedite the proceedings in LAOP.No.165 of 2019 pending on its file and in any event, dispose of the same finally on merits and in accordance with law on or before 31.01.2026, after hearing the parties.

6. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
