The Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: "directing the respondent to furnish the copy of document namely the store Indent book from 01.07.2018 to 23.09.2019 within a reasonable time enabling the petitioner to submit his further explanation".

2. The petitioner has been serving as an Office Assistant, Food Analysis Laboratory, Guindy. He would submit that the respondent has issued a show cause notice dated 31.01.2025 alleging false allegations. The petitioner would submit that certain documents are very much required for submitting his explanation. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent herein to furnish the documents, namely, Store Indent Book for the period from 20.09.2019 to 30.09.2019. The respondent furnished the the document for the 2/6

same however the said document is manually prepared one.

3. Thereafter, the petitioner requested the respondent to furnish store indent book for the period from 01.07.2018 to 23.09.2019. However, the respondent informed that they have already furnished the store indent book for the said period. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.

Considering the fact that the petitioner was directed to submit his explanation within a period of 15 days and the fact that the petitioner require certain documents to give his explanation, the respondent is directed to produce the documents sought for by the petitioner within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If these documents are not given to the petitioner he will not be in a position to give an effective explanation and principles of 3/6

natural justice also require that the petitioner be given a fair opportunity. Till such time the documents are furnished the orders on the show cause notice shall not be passed.

6. The Writ Petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
