ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble S.S.Sundar, J.) This petition is filed to condone the delay of 1742 days in representing the above appeal papers.

2. Even though the learned counsel for the respondent filed a detailed counter, has submitted his case on merits, as regards this petition for condoning the delay in https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis representation. The parties have agreed that a civil suit is pending. In such

circumstances, though the delay is inordinate, the petitioner has given reasons to the satisfaction of this Court.

3. Since the delay is inordinate and the petitioner could have been avoided by showing due diligence, this Court is inclined to allow this petition on terms.

4. Accordingly, this petition is ordered, subject to payment of a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) by the petitioner to the 15th respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to pay the said amount by way of a demand draft in favour of the 15th respondent Temple to the Fit Person or to the Temple directly.
