The Secretary To The Government v. A Sivapakkiyam
C.M.P.No.24909 of 2024 in W.A.SR.No.138117 of 2024 R.SURESH KUMAR, J.
AND C. SARAVANAN, J.
This petition is filed to condone the delay of 344 days in filing the writ appeal.
Heard Mr.M.Bindran, learned Additional Government Pleader for the petitioners and Mr.S.Kolandaisamy, learned counsel for the respondent.
The delay in filing is 344 days, which is huge. Though this Court is inclined to allow this petition, we feel that at least cost may be imposed, as the delay is more than 300 days.
In that view of the matter, the petitioners shall pay a sum of Rs.2,000/- to the respondent within two weeks, failing which, this petition shall automatically stand dismissed without any further reference to this Court.
The petition, accordingly, stands ordered on compliance of the aforementioned condition.
