Vellore - 632 007, Vellore District on the basis of the application No. 20616, dated 03.09.2024 and also representation made by the petitioner on 03.10.2024 to 1st respondent provision under Rule 289 of Tamilnadu Urban Local Government Rules 2023.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the 1st respondent to issue the trade licence in favour of the petitioner carrying business on self-employment scheme, viz., Velan UPVC Industries situated at No. 2/A, Sangam Street, Nadu Mottur, Pallikuppam, Katpadi, Vellore - 632 007, Vellore District, on the basis of the application No. 20616, dated 03.09.2024 and also representation made by the petitioner on 03.10.2024 to the 1st respondent provision under Rule 289 of Tamilnadu Urban Local Government Rules 2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
