This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 182 days in filing the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

2. Even though notice has been served on the counsel for caveators, they are not present and no counter is also filed objecting the delay petition.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the delay is condoned, however, on payment of cost of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) by the petitioner to the Madras High Court Legal Aid Services Authority, Chennai, within a period of one week from today. If the cost is paid on or before 19.06.2023 and the affidavit of service is filed, this application stands allowed and the registry is directed to number the main appeal. If the cost is not paid and the affidavit of service is not filed on or before 19.06.2023, this C.M.P. stands dismissed without any reference to this Court.
