These Applications are filed by the Official Trustee, claiming arrears of rent from September,2013, to October,2019, at Rs.50,000/- per month, aggregating to a sum of Rs.37.00 lakhs with applicable administrative charges, as charged for delayed payment, applicable to all the tenants.

2. Respondent has filed a counter admitting the lease agreement, but stated that the applicant cannot try to evict the respondent with the help of police. Though various averments have been made, the factum that the agreement of lease has been admitted and that the respondent was in possession of the property till the possession was taken on 14.03.2022, I am of the view that rental arrears have to be paid by the respondent and the demand made by the Official Trustee is justified.
