Mr.T.C.Gopalakrishnan, learned standing counsel takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for mandamus directing the respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 26.08.2019 and consequently, to assess and levy the property tax pertaining to the property referred to in the writ petition.

3. According to the petitioner, the subject matter property was settled in her favour by her grandfather by way of registered deed of settlement dated 03.01.2019. Therefore, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

she seeks for transfer of property tax assessment in her name. Seeking such relief, the petitioner made such representation on 26.08.2019. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered by the respondent so far.

Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2019 and pass orders on the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
