Mr.S.Sathish Kumar, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on his representation dated 26.08.2019, through which, the petitioner seeks for transfer of property tax assessment in his favour, which is now standing in the name of the petitioner's father. According to the petitioner, the petitioner's father executed a settlement deed in his favour on 11.12.2018 and therefore, the property tax has to be assessed in his name. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

This Court at this stage is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the same, based on the representation made by the petitioner. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 26.08.2019 and pass orders on the same after hearing the petitioner and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
