This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to register the FIR based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 02.11.2022.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's house is situated in Arasudyanpattu Village and he is under the care and custody of his mother Rajam; on 16.10.2022, when he was at Chennai and his mother was also out of station, he has got a call from his neighbour by stating that the door of his house was broken; immediately, the petitioner rushed to his house at the village and after noticing that his Almirah was broken and many of the valuables were found missing, he gave a complaint to the 3rd respondent police to take appropriate action; so far no action has been taken.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the the petitioner has given a complaint on 02.11.2022 and on which, a current paper enquiry has been initiated in C.No.192 of 2022 and the enquiry is pending.
5. Since the action has not been taken in a speedy manner as it is expected from the respondent, the respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
