O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner to conduct the temple festival, in Aravan festival on 20.12.2022 to 30.12.2022 situated at Aravan Temple, Kurichi Village, Madukkarai Taluk, Coimbatore District based on the Petitioner representation dated 11.11.2022.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent submitted that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the rival group in managing the affairs of the temple. In this regard, the petitioner has given a complaint dated 17.11.2022. Based on the complaint, C.S.R.No.1282 of 2022 was registered and after completion of the enquiry, the complaint was closed since the dispute involved is Civil in nature.

3. In the light of the enquiry findings, this Court directs the petitioner to approach the competent Civil Court to seek appropriate remedy. 2/4
