O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner and her husband's family from the third respondent based upon the representation dated 05.11.2019 given by the petitioner.

2. Heard Mr.D.Ashokkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police 1 & 2 on instructions would submit that in respect of the petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2019 given against the third respondent and others. Initially case has been registered in Crime No.357 of 2019 under section 366A, 294, 506(i) read with section 4 of POCSO Act and section 10(a) of the Child Marriage Prohibition Act.

4. After the registration of the case, the dispute between the third respondent and the petitioner has been settled and the same has also been recorded by this Court on 16.03.2020 in Crl.O.P.No.5457 of 2020. The said submission is recorded by this Court.

5. In view of the above, for the reason that the dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent have already been settled, nothing survives for further adjudication.

6. Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. No costs.
