ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents to pass orders on the enquiry proceedings conducted as per the proceedings of the 2nd Respondent in Na.Ka.No.A2 /28331/2021 dated 16.11.2022 followed by enquiry conducted by the proceedings of the 3rd Respondent in Na.Ka.No.J5/5808/2022, dated 30.11.2022 and the enquiry report, dated 08.12.2022 and to consider the petitioner for promotion to the post of P.G.Assistant (History) on par with junior N.Kamalanathan with all consequential and other attendant benefits including pensionary benefits, in consideration of representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 17.07.2023 and 20.12.2023 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the Respondents.
3. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal today.
4. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner who was working
as a Headmaster in Middle School, retired from service on 30.06.2004. While the petitioner was in service, though his name was included in the promotion to the post of P.G. Assistant vide panel issued by 2nd Respondent, dated 27.01.2004, he has not been given promotion since he was involving in Association Activities. After several representations, enquiry has been conducted on this aspect. However, the same has not been concluded and no final orders have been passed till date and the present Writ Petition is filed.

Though a Writ of Mandamus has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.07.2023 and 20.12.2023 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, the only grievance of the petitioner is that despite the enquiry conducted on 08.12.2022 in Na.Ka.No.J5/5808/2022 by the District Adi Dravidar & Tribal Welfare Officer, Tiruvallur, no orders have been passed till date.
6. In view of the same, this Court directs the third respondent / District Adi Dravidar & Tribal Welfare Officer, Tiruvallur to pass orders on the enquiry conducted in the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.J5/5808/2022,
dated 08.12.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
