Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on merits by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 25.09.2024 within a stipulated time as this Court fixes. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to consider his representation dated 25.09.2024 and pass final orders within stipulated time by this Court.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he purchased 20 cents of land in survey no.205A/1 in Kanakkampalayam village, Tiruppur North Taluk, Tiruppur District under registered sale deed dated 21.08.2005. It is further case of the petitioner that he is enjoying more extent than, the extent mentioned in the title document. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 25.09.2024 seeking correction in the revenue records with regard to the extent of the property in possession of the petitioner and the same has not been 2/4

considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.09.2024 and pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing necessary notice to the petitioner and the neighboring land owners and any other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
