Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records in C3/D.O/56/2023 dated 30.09.2023 on the file of the 2nd respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's son Pugazhendhi Raja, Son of Rajasekar, aged about 27 years, who now detained in Central Prison, Cuddalore, before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

The petitioner, father of the detenu, namely Pugazhendhi Raja, Son of Rajasekar, aged about 27 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 30.09.2023 slapped on his son, branding him as "GOONDA" as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the 2/5
order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the son of the petitioner herein dated 30.09.2023 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.6530, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XI) Department, dated 22.11.2023 and he has also produced a copy of the said order. 3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as the same has become infructuous.
