Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2025 and to rectify the 1/5

corrections in the UDR and SLR on the light of A-Register and to issue joint patta for the lands comprised in old survey No.320 and new survey No.392/38 and 392/23 measuring about 7320 sq.ft situated at Ammayarkuppam Village, R.K. Pet Taluk, Tiruvallur District For Petitioners : Mr.M.Elumalai For Respondents : Mr.D.Ravichander Special Government Pleader Order Heard Mr.M.Elumalai, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for the following prayer:- i) For issuance of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2025 and to rectify the corrections in the UDR and SLR on the light of A-Register and to issue joint patta for the lands.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioners would be satisfied if the representation made by them seeking for aforesaid prayer is considered and disposed of in a time bound manner.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent fairly submitted that the representation made by the petitioners would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within the time, as stipulated by this Court.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader for respondents and considering the limited scope of the prayer, sought for by the petitioners, in this Writ Petition, this Court, without expressing any view with regard to the merits of the contentions putforth by the petitioners either in the Writ Petition or in the representation, is of the view that, suffice it would be to direct the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioners' representation in a time bound manner.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioners dated 21.04.2025 and dispose of the same as early as possible, preferably, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
