ORDER

Earlier by order dated 03.01.2025, this Court had extended the time fixed for selling the property in O.P.No.596 of 2022. When the matter was listed on 28.02.2025, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the sale deed could not be executed within the said time frame since the applicant had also taken out a further Original Petition in O.P.No.628 of 2024 for selling a further portion of the property along with the residual property left out after sale of portion of the property as ordered by this Court in O.P.No.596 of 2022. Therefore, he would seek further extension of time by three months. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

Thereafter, the Registry was directed to list the present application along with O.P.No.628 of 2024. Today, both the instant application and the Original Petition in O.P.No.628 of 2024 was listed.

2. After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner this Court was pleased to order O.P.No.628 of 2024, granting six months time for the applicant to execute the sale. The reason for granting such relief was also to comply with the permission granted by this Court in the instant Original Petition.

3. In such view of the matter, no impediment in extending the period of time for executing the sale deed for the residue of the property left out in the schedule of the property in the Original Petition.

4. In fine, three months time is granted for the petitioner to execute the sale deed. The petitioner shall file the certified copy of the sale deed after execution within a period of three months thereafter.

5. Hence, the Application in A.No.5924 of 2024 in O.P.No.596 of 2022 stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 11-03-2025 (1/2) kak To
