ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in STC No.848 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Namakkal.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is ready to face the trial and request that the personal appearance of the petitioner before the Trial Court may be dispensed with since the petitioner is aged about 67 years, suffering from ailments.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he is ready to face the trial, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.

4. The personal appearance of the petitioner is dispensed with except for answering the charges, questioning under Section 313 Cr.P.C., or on any other date as may be required by the Trial Court. The petitioner shall represented by the counsel on all hearing dates, without fail and co-operate for the speedy disposal of the case.
