..Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records in the order bearing No.Na.Ka.A2/1179/2019 dated 18.10.2021 passed by the respondent and quashing the same, and directing the respondent to issue "Kurumans" Scheduled Tribe Community certificates to the petitioner and her three children viz. Guruvallavan.S, Vedhavarajan.S, and Devaragavan.S. 1/4

Challenge in these Writ Petitions are the orders passed by the original authority, rejecting the request of the respective petitioners for grant of community certificate to the effect that their children belong to Hindu "Kurumans", Scheduled Tribe community.

2.Mr.M.Radhakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would contend that one of the family members has been granted a certificate pursuant to the orders of this Court therefore, the original authorities were not right in rejecting the request of the petitioners. The order of the original authority is appealable to the District Collector as per G.O.Ms.No.147. Hence, we do not propose to entertain the Writ Petitions. 2/4

3.These Writ Petitions are dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioners to approach the Collector by way of an appeal. If such appeal is filed, the District Collector will dispose of the same within a period of six months from the date of filing of the appeal. No costs. (R.S.M.,J.)
