This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent and third respondents to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's representation/complainant dated 14.08.2024 and provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's family property to an extent of about 14.87 cents (6480 sq.ft) vacant plot, situated in S.No.253 in Telungupalaym Village, Coimbatore District.

2. According to the petitioner, the property in question (14.87 cents) has been in their family's possession for over 63 years, originally inherited through a partition deed in 1961. Despite this, the private respondents fraudulently obtained a patta in 2012 using false documents. The competent authority confirmed no patta was issued in favour of the respondents. Hence, the petitioner filed a complaint with the police on 14.08.2024, but no action has been taken, leading to the present writ petition.

3. The matter at hand pertains to a civil dispute concerning property rights. Police protection cannot be granted in such cases, as police intervention is not applicable in civil matters. Therefore, the writ petition is not maintainable before this Court and is hereby dismissed.
