O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed, seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission to conduct the cultural programme of Adal Padal on 05.12.2022 between at 6.00 p.m to 11.00 p.m at Sri Muthu Mariyamman Temple situated at Pambakuttai village, 1/4

Thimmanamuthur Post, Tirupattur Taluk, Tirupattur District - 635 651, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.11.2022.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in order to conduct cultural programme on 05.12.2022 between 06.00 p.m to 11.00 p.m, in the event of Sri Muthu Mariyamman Temple situated at Pambakuttai village, Thimmanamuthur Post, Tirupattur Taluk, Tirupattur District - 635 651, the petitioner has sent a representation, dated 27.11.2022 to the respondents. But, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent police have received the representation of the petitioner and the same is pending for consideration.

4. I have considered the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police.

5. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the Director General of 2/4

Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, had issued a circular memorandum in Rc.007301/Genl.I(1)/2019, dated 09.04.2019, along with instructions to the Inspectors of Police throughout Tamil Nadu for consideration of applications seeking permission for conducting cultural programme. Therefore, in view of the detailed circular and guidelines issued by the Director General of Police, the respondent police is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.11.2022 and pass suitable orders based on the above said circular. Uploaded copy can be utilized for the purpose of execution of the order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
