ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to consider the representation of the petitioner within the time prescribed by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's date of birth is 02.10.1978. However, in the passport, it is mentioned as 02.10.1970.

3. A counter-affidavit is filed by the respondent. It is stated that originally, when the petitioner had given documents, it is the petitioner himself who gave the Transfer Certificate issued by the V.K.Higher Primary School, Banglore and also the voter ID as proof of his date of birth. In both the documents, his date of birth is mentioned as 02.10.1970. As a matter of fact, his place of birth was also originally entered as Banglore. Now, from the birth certificate produced by the petitioner, it is noted as the place of birth is mentioned as Vaniyambadi. Therefore, there is a difference of eight years with reference to the date of birth and also the place of birth and 2/6

therefore, the entire thing is seriously disputed. Since the petitioner has not demonstrated before this Court that the error is a genuine error or that how the earlier mistakes happened including the Transfer Certificate of the school etc., this Court is unable to come to the rescue of the petitioner. Even in the affidavit, filed in support of the Writ Petition consisting of four paragraphs, nothing is mentioned with reference to those facts.

4. In view thereof, finding no merits, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
