Prayer : - Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records relating to the order passed by the 4th respondent in proceeding No.O.Mu.No.4140/A4/2017 dated 20.10.2017 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to grant approval for the appointment of Tmt.G.Bakyalakshmi, in the regular sanctioned post of Laboratory Assistant in the petitioner's School from the date of appointment on 15.09.2017 and to make the payment of salary with interest and consequential service benefits within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court. ORDER
(1) The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a certiorarified mandamus seeking records of the 4th respondent, District Educational Officer, Kumbakonam in Thanjavur District dated 20.10.2017 in proceedings No.O.Mu.No.4140/A4/2017 by which proceedings, the approval for the appointment of Mrs.G.Bakyalakshmi, in the regular sanctioned post of Laboratory Assistant in the petitioner's School was rejected and to quash the same and to direct the respondents to grant
such approval from the date of appointment of Mrs.G.Bakyalakshmi on 15.09.2017 and to make the payment of salary with interest and other consequential service benefits.
(2) By the impugned proceedings, the District Educational Officer, Kumbakonam/4th respondent herein, had refused the approval. (3) But today, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents had forwarded the proceedings of the same 4th respondent / District Educational Officer, Kumbakonam, in April 2018, wherein the 4th respondent had revisited the entire issue and had granted approval for appointment of Mrs.G.Bakyalakshmi to the said post of Laboratory Assistant.
(4) In view of the same, no further issue arises for adjudication in this writ petition.
(5) The writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
