TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Appellant is represented by M/s.P.T.Ramadevi Advocate. Mr.P.Sivaprakasam, Assistant Executive Engineer for Corporation of Chennai and Mr.P.Gajendiran, Advocate for the respondent and respondent are present.
2. The Appellant has preferred the present appeal. Aggrieved against the award of Rs.24,06,000/- with interest.
3. Now the parties agreed for Rs.24,06,000/- (Rupees Twenty Four Lakhs, Six Thousand only) in full quit inclusive of interest.
4. The Appellant is directed to deposit the modified award amount within a period of six weeks from the date of this order, less already deposited, if any.
5. On such deposit, the respondent is entitled to withdraw the entire amount. The Award is modified accordingly. 2/5
6. The Tribunal is directed to transfer the amount through RTGS/NEFT to the party concerned on proper identification in accordance with the terms of the award, without insisting on any formal permission petition.
7. This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. The Commissioner, Corporation of Chennai, Rippon Buildings, Chennai - 600 003.
