Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the unauthorized hoardings erected by the 4th and 5th respondents at 1) "Sivakasi Nadar Mansion", Poonamallee High Road, Park Town, Chennai 600 063, which comes under Zone-5, Ward-58 of the Greater Chennai Corporation and 2) "Durar Bhawan", Door No.660, New No.610, Poonamallee High Road, Aminjikarai, Chennai 600 029, which comes under Zone-8, Ward-101 of the Greater Chennai Corporation, based on the petitioner's representations dated 25.07.2025, 30.07.2025 and 08.08.2025 within a specified time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This petition is filed by the petitioner, who is one of the advertisers, complaining that many hoardings and advertisements are being erected by 4th and 5th respondents without obtaining any permission. Even though several complaints have been made, the Corporation is not taking any action.
2. We find that representations have been made on various dates in the month of July and August, 2025 only and this petition has now been filed before this Court.
3. Learned counsel for the Corporation, on advance copy, would submit that the complaints made would be examined in accordance with law.
