This application is filed by the applicant seeking to extend the time for a period of four months with effect from 17.11.2019 to enable the Arbitral Tribunal to pass the award.

This Court, vide order dated 18.04.2018 in O.P.No.124 of 2018, had appointed Mr.S.Balachandran, Retd. CEE/NFR, as Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate upon the disputes between the petitioner and the respondent. It is stated that arguments were completed and reserved for passing of orders. As the mandate of the tribunal has expired on 17.11.2019, the parties have prayed for extension of time for conclusion of arbitration proceedings. 3.

With the consent of both learned counsel, time is extended by three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for completion of the Arbitral proceedings and for passing the award. The parties are directed to co-operate with the Arbitrator for passing of the order as expeditiously as possible.
