The petitioner herein who was summoned by the respondent police to appear before him and participate in the enquiry in connection with the complaint given by one Sulaiman and taken for investigation in Crime No.175 of 2023 is before this Court alleging that the respondent police harassing her to appear for enquiry.

This Court on perusing the records finds that the FIR has been registered against the petitioner's mother and same is under investigation in Crime No.175 of 2023. In this connection, summons under 160 Cr.P.C. been caused to the petitioner to participate in the enquiry. However, the petitioner has not appeared in the enquiry, but had rushed to this Court alleging that police harassing her. This Court finds that it is only an attempt to put spokes to the investigation under the guise of seeking protection from harassment.
