Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation dated 13.08.2024 and consequently direct the respondents 2 and 3 to grant patta no.1732 with correct extent of 2100 Sq. ft. for the property at Survey No.59 (part), Village No.45, Kolathuvancheri Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, now Kundrathur Taluk. ORDER

Aggrieved by the fact that representation to the respondents 2 and 3 to correct the extent of land holding and grant pata No.1732 has not been taken into consideration, the petitioner is present before this Court seeking a mandamus.

2. The petitioner's case is that he had purchased the extent of 2100 sq. ft., in Survey No.59 (part), Village No.45, Kolathuvancheri Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, now Kundrathur Taluk, and registered a sale deed 2/5

dated 04.02.2005. The petitoner had also obtained patta in Patta No.1732. However, when he downloaded the patta, he came to know that the extent shown in that patta is lesser extent. Therefore, he had made his representation for correction on 13.08.2024 which has not been considered. Considering this request of the petitioner and the fact that the representation had been sent on 13.08.2024, the writ petition is allowed and the mandamus is issued directing the Tahsildar to consider this representation of the petitioner dated 13.08.2024 for issue of patta for the extent shown in the sale deed and pass orders within a period of six weeks. In the result, the writ petition stands allowed. No costs. 06.11.2024 vsn 3/5
