ORDER

This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu.W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025. 2.

This case is registered for alleged offence under Section 341, 294(b) , 352, 353 & 506 (i) of IPC. The allegation in this case is that, when the police arrested bootlegger namely Elumalai @ Sangu Elumalai, these Page No.1 of 3

accused who are relatives to the said Elumalai abused the police. For the said allegation, the accused attending the case from the year 2019. There is also no previous or subsequent case as against these accused. Considering the fact that the accused are attending the Court for the past 6 years, any further continuance of case will impinge upon a right to speedy trial. 3.

In view thereof, the proceedings in C.C.No.119 of 2020 on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court, Ginjee Taluk, Villupuram is quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of.

11.09.2025 veda electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
