ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.59 of 2021 pending on the file of the All Women Police Station East, Coimbatore District and quash the same.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned Government Advocate (Crl side) appearing for the 1st respondent police. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the petitioners/accused 2 to 5 along with A1 have appeared before this Court through Video conferencing and the defacto complainant has appeared. Further, the petitioners along with A1 have filed an affidavit of undertaking stating that the matter was amicably settled between the parties as per the Joint Memo of Compromise to that effect.
4. The second respondent/defacto complainant has appeared before 2/5
this Court, she admits that the matter was amicably settled between the parties and she is not inclined to proceed with the matter and accepted the terms of compromise.
5. Considering the joint memo of compromise filed by both parties and also considering the affidavit of undertaking filed by the petitioners along with A1, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed and the proceedings in Crime No.No.59 of 2021 pending on the file of the All Women Police Station East, Coimbatore District, is quashed in respect of the petitioners along with A1 and the terms of joint memo of compromise has been filed in the typed set of papers along with this petition, shall form part and parcel of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
