The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 420 IPC, in Crime No.540 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police seek anticipatory bail. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Thus, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail for the petitioners. 3.It is stated that the defacto complainant had stated that he had borrowed an amount from the first petitioner herein and handed over documents relating to a property. It is stated that the accused herein had also directed the defacto complainant to sign in blank cheques and papers and on the basis of the blank signed papers, had also created documents including a promissory note.

This Court had given the petitioner an opportunity to return back the signed blank papers. But an affidavit has been filed that they are not in possession of the signed blank papers. It only indicates lack of bonafide on the part of the petitioner herein.

petitioners herein cannot be granted.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. The respondent is directed to take necessary and appropriate action as against the petitioners herein.
