This petition is filed to quash the First Information in Crime No.572 of 2017 on the file of the 1st respondent for the offences under Sections 120B, 109, 410, 420, 404, 406, 417, 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of the Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002. 2.On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the 1st respondent / Police has closed the First Information Report as mistake of fact and they have also served the charge sheet notice to the 2nd respondent / de-facto complainant.
