PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent dated 16.09.2024 in D.O.No.C2/56/2024 against the petitioner's husband Perumal, Male aged 45 years S/o. Arjunan who is confined at Central Prison, Cuddalore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this court and set him at liberty.

Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.7647, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 04.11.2024.

Thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
