This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent/Police not to harass the petitioners.
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State 1/4
submitted that based on the complaint given by the de-facto complainant, the petitioner was called for enquiry and CSR is still pending. .
3. No doubt, after receiving the complaint, it is the duty of the police to conduct an enquiry prior to register the case and to file final report. Calling the petitioners for enquiry cannot be considered as harassment. Hence, the petitioners are directed to co-operate for the enquiry/investigation.
