Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to the detention order in Proceedings No.C3/D.O/68/2019 dated 25/9/2019 on the file of the second respondent and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's son namely Aruna, S/o. Venkatesh, aged about 34 years, now confined in Central Prison, Cuddalore, before this Court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

[Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] Petitioner is the mother of the detenu viz., Aruna, S/o.Venkatesan, aged 34 years, who has been branded as 'Goonda' under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under order of second respondent passed in Proceedings No.C3/D.O/68/2019 dated 25/9/2019. 2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the son of the petitioner in Proceedings No.C3/D.O/68/2019 dated 25/9/2019 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.4879, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 29/11/2019 and produced a copy of the said order.

3. In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
