... Respondents Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondents for willfully and deliberately violating the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.15367 of 2024 dated 05.07.2024, award cost.

For Petitioner : Mr.Balan Haridas For Respondents For R1 : Mr.S.Balathandayutham Special Government Pleader For R2 : Mr.C.Raja Kumar COMMON ORDER These Contempt Petitions have been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the common order dated 05.07.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.15362 of 2024 etc., batch, thereby directed the respondents to disburse the dues to the petitioners forthwith with applicable interest.

On instruction, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted that after the directions issued by this Court, the Chief Executive Officer, Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board has sent proposal. However, it was not scrutinized by the audit department. Therefore, once again called for necessary pension proposals to the government after scrutinized by the Director, State Government Audit Department, by the government letter dated 02.01.2025 and it is pending. After receipt of the proposal from the Chief Executive Officer, Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board, the terminal

benefits will be disbursed to the retired employees of the Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board.

Considering the above submission, the Chief Executive Officer, Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board is directed to send proposal within a period of eight weeks from the receipt of a copy of this Order, after scrutinized by the Director, State Government Audit Department. 4.

With the above directions, all the Contempt Petitions stand disposed of.
